BIOGRAPHY:
A retired San Antonio Police Officer, joined the police department in 1974 and retired in 2010. Prior to joining the Police Department, I did a one year tour in Vietnam in 1968 and served in the Coast Guard simultaneously as a reservist retiring after 44 years. I received a bachelor degree in Law Enforcement from Southwest Texas State University in 1977. Married to Dolores and between us we have four children and three grandchildren. We have one wonderful daughter in law and many spiritual sons & daughters. In June of 1995 my wife and I were invited to Alamo City Christian Fellowship by another police officer. As a police officer I had several brushes with near death but the Lord wasn’t through with me as yet. 2 Peter 3:9 says “He does not want anyone to perish but all to come to repentance.” The message we heard that day was that it didn’t matter what religion you were, all that mattered was a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in your heart. I am not the same person; I am a new creation in Jesus. I have had the privilege of training many police officers; leading and directing them to the Lord. The Lord had now enlarged my tent by allowing me to minister to the men of Alamo City Christian Fellowship. When Jesus says that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), take Him at His word, I am a living testimony to His truth.
